If you know me, you probably also know that I am practically worthless without my morning cup of coffee. Part caffeine boost, part ritual, I’m just not awake without it. Green tea can sometimes suffice, but coffee is my top choice.
In setting up our new apartment, we’re trying to find homes for all of our dishes and appliances. We have a decent amount of cupboard space, but we also have a lot of kitchen items.
One lovely and simple solution:
My husband hung up cup hooks for my coffee mugs. They’re even very near to my coffee pot, so I can just reach out in a bleary stupor and grab one. It also frees up a bit more cupboard space for wine glasses, of which we apparently have twelve million. Approximately.
And one huge box of kitchen stuff isn’t even here yet. Eek.

For someone with two cats, I notice you lack crazy cat lady cups. At least now I know what to get you for Christmas!
Darling, with you around, I will never achieve true crazy cat lady status in comparison, so why bother trying? XOXOXO
Yeah, you totally have really boring mugs!
We got rid of all the random ones since we have a matching set! And I’m the only one who drinks coffee – how many do we need? I still have my awesome Ethiopian mug, but my coffee was in it when I took the photo.
Good morning! I was looking for another way to organize my mugs and I saw your website and saw your picture. Also, I don’t know if you are aware but that picture was also shown in this website without credits to you:

Thank you for the idea!
Hey Maria! Thanks for stopping by. They actually did credit me (and everyone) at the bottom under the slide show, it’s just small. =)
I really liked that solution – though I do miss the pass-through as we have moved since then.
