health coaching update

by Stacy

I’m finally feeling caught up on posting some actual food on my food blog. So the perfect segue from the cookies and booze I just posted is health coaching news, right? Right.

My health coaching program is already half over! It’s hard to believe how fast it’s gone by and how much we’ve covered. I’ve been thrilled to connect with other students locally and around the world, and have found the whole experience very rewarding.

I’ve been working hard to stay on track even while doing my show and traveling, so I set myself two goals that I want to share with you.

Goal #2 — Practice health histories

Our program requirements include conducting health history consultations. My goal is to do 2 consultations per week starting after Thanksgiving. I’ve exhausted my stock of immediate family and childhood friends (thanks, guys!) and need to cast a wider net — and here you are.

Health history consultations are completely confidential, take about 45 minutes, and can be conducted by phone, Skype, or Google Voice Chat (or in person in San Diego County). It’s not an advice session, it’s meant to be a space for you to talk about where you are and want to be with your health and wellness goals. Everyone so far has really enjoyed them, and it’s my homework!

If you’re interested in taking advantage of this opportunity (and I hope you are), just let me know via email, message or direct message me on Twitter, or leave a comment on this post. I am currently scheduling consultations on Sundays (morning or afternoon), and Tuesday and Thursday evenings. If none of those options work for you I can probably figure something out. I would really appreciate the practice and think it would benefit you, too!

I hope to hear from you soon!
